The boy's a genius - He's never even SEEN a monkfish!!
Ollie finally got back to his cheery self, and settled back into nursery well in time for the Christmas party. The boy's a genius - He's never even SEEN a monkfish!!

Ollie had a rough time in October/November, with a run of infections: Hand-foot-mouth virus, a croupy infection, then cellulitis in his right hand, which required a stay in hospital.
It was heartbreaking to see him so unwell, and we will always be grateful for the excellent care he received at the Royal Aberdeen Childrens Hospital. Our family cycling took off this month, with Ollie making an excellent (if lazy) cycle-buddy. Unfortunately, Ollie wasn't very well the week before his birthday - and even more unwell in the weeks afterwards, so his first birthday was a quiet family day and we went out for lunch. Ollie's first wedding! Rocking the kilted baby look - He was a wee star complete with tartan nappy cover (see August). BBQ season, and a trip to York to see Gran and Grandpa in their new house. Looking good in green :) Ollie loves the Norwegian antique high chair. To see a video of Sandra relentlessly teasing Oliver, click here (Keep watching to the end for him flashing his smile!) Ollie's first go on the swings! We also had a fab trip to Northern Ireland for Opa's birthday :) Ollie likes flying! Weaning got messier, Ollie got bigger, and he entered his first Monymusk boules competition. The weaning adventure begins!
Ollie grasped very quickly what do do with real food. Not a great surprise - After all, he is Craig's son! We had some fab trips in April, and the best of the summer too. Ollie's first teeth came through, and with them his first taste of Calpol. Yum! Auntie Katie and Uncle Andrew came to visit, and brought Ollie and AWESOME leprechaun outfit, which he loved - Honest!
